National Prevention Day established in Latvia – prevention to be highlighted across the country throughout September
To raise awareness of prevention challenges in Latvia, promote greater public understanding of the importance of timely healthcare, and help reduce barriers to preventive health checks, Veselības centru apvienība, Centrālā laboratorija and Mēness aptieka, together with partners, have established the National Prevention Day.

To strengthen its competitiveness, enhance the efficiency of pharmaceutical distribution and contribute to the resilience of Latvia’s critical healthcare infrastructure, AS Recipe Plus, a local private capital company, is investing €20 million in the development of the Baltics’ most advanced pharmaceutical and medical supplies distribution centre in Riga.
