In order to further improve AB CITY Group's operations, Kristine Jučkoviča, Director of Strategic and Health Policy, has joined the management team, complementing the centralised management of functions within the holding company.
"The addition of such a professional to the management team is the next step in the implementation of the already announced "Fit for 2025" strategy, which will streamline the management of the Group and bring it even closer to the principles of a modern - rational, efficient and effective - company, so that it can grow from a small European company to a serious market player in the Baltic region," says Roberts Tavjevs, member of the Board of AB CITY.
K. Jučkoviča, Director of Strategic and Health Policy, will be responsible for managing the Group's relations with external partners - state institutions, municipalities, non-governmental organisations, including international ones, etc. She will also be responsible for strengthening the Group's reputation, synergies, strategic management of internal and external relations, and implementation of the corporate culture.
She will also be the Group's spokesperson on key strategic issues in the media, the Saeima and its committees, the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, and elsewhere.
K. Jučkoviča has a background in healthcare management and previously chaired the Pharmaceutical Care Association of Latvia (LFAA), a non-governmental organisation that unites four major pharmacy companies. Previously, Juččkoviča has worked in the management teams of a pharmaceutical company, a private clinic and a pharmacy network, as well as in the office of the Minister of Health, in the Saeima as a senior advisor to the parliamentary fraction, as press secretary to the Prime Minister, etc.
K. Jučkoviča will continue to work as the Executive Director of the LFAA.
