For several years, "Mēness aptieka" has been supporting Latvia’s vibrant senior celebration with strong traditions – a colorful festive parade, ensemble performances, and above all, the joy of being together and stepping out of everyday routine.
The Singing festival, organized by the Latvian Pensioners’ Federation, annually brings together senior choirs from across Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme, Zemgale, Sēlija, and Riga.
One of the festival’s traditional offerings is the opportunity for participants to visit "Mēness aptieka’s" Health Stop to undergo preventive health checks – including blood pressure measurement, blood sugar level testing, and consultations on health-related topics.
As part of its commitment to senior health, "Mēness aptieka" pharmacies across Latvia offer the monthly newspaper Latvijas Pensionārs, published by the Latvian Pensioners’ Federation. The newspaper publications features valuable expert advice focused on strengthening health and preventing illness – information important for seniors.
