Baby care package for newborns in Olaine

Since June 2023, JSC Olpha, in continued partnership with the Olaine Municipality, has been providing baby care packages or dowries (pūriņi) to families whose newborns are officially registered in the Olaine Municipality. This initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility program, aimed at supporting the local community and strengthening families.

In the first year (2023), 200 kits were distributed, and the tradition continued in 2024 with another 200 kits, bringing the total donation value to €20,000. Each kit is valued at approximately €50 and includes useful items for newborn care, such as a blanket, bib, hygiene products, and baby clothing. Parents receive the kit when registering their child with the Olaine Civil Registry Department.

JSC Olpha Chairman of the Board, Juris Bundulis, emphasizes that every child and their parents deserve support from the very first days of life. By continuing this meaningful tradition, JSC Olpha reaffirms its commitment to building strong ties with Olaine Municipality and making a positive impact on the local community.

In addition, JSC Olpha supports its own employees by offering an equivalent baby care package and a financial allowance of €250 upon the birth of a child.

This initiative is a testament to the company’s long-term investment in community development and family well-being.
