In early April, the first stage of the “Stirnu buks” trail running series was held in the Tukums region. At the event, the joint “Centrālā laboratorija”, “Veselības centru apvienība” and “Mēness aptieka” loyalty program “Veselība” (“Health”) card tent provided participants with useful health advice, engaging activities, and tea to help stay warm in the windy weather.
Since 2024, “Centrālā laboratorija”, “Veselības centru apvienība”, and “Mēness aptieka” have actively supported “Stirnu buks”, a popular sport initiative that promotes healthy living by reminding people of the value of health and the important role lifestyle habits play in maintaining it.
The most popular “Stirnu buks” trail, “Zaķis” is named after the joint loyalty program of “Centrālā laboratorija”, “Veselības centru apvienība” and “Mēness aptieka” – “Veselība”. The trail run aims to engage participants of all ages, guiding them through scenic forest trails in Latvia while encouraging to enjoy the fresh air and spend quality time with friends, colleagues, and family. This shared activity promotes healthy habits, friendship and cooperation. Health-promoting activities are also popular among our employees, with company teams and their family members well represented in the trail run.
To promote running and Nordic walking as healthy and interesting activities, “Stirnu buks” has been held for over 10 years, with several thousand participants each time. This popular sports initiative takes place in several stages, each offering different distances for active lifestyle enthusiasts of all ages.
