“Mēness aptieka” recognized as the most loved pharmacy brand in Latvia

“Mēness aptieka” is the most loved, highest-quality, greenest, affordable, most humane, and most resonant pharmacy brand in Latvia in 2025. It ranks 15th in the overall rating of Latvia`s most loved brands. This recognition is received based on a public survey conducted as part of “Brand Capital” – the most comprehensive brand and lifestyle study in the Baltics.

For the 12th consecutive year – and this time with an especially strong lead of nearly 16 percentage points – “Mēness aptieka” has been recognized as the most loved brand in the industry, reflecting the public’s trust and high appreciation of pharmacists’ professionalism. “Mēness aptieka” achieved the strongest results in terms of social resonance – how the brand responds to relevant topics and events in the society. Among pharmacy brands, it is rated highest for quality of its services, as well as for its humane and green approach. Forty-two percent of survey respondents confirmed that they like this pharmacy brand.

“Mēness aptieka” is not only a well-recognized pharmacy brand in Latvia, but also an active supporter of health education and prevention initiatives. People across the country regularly turn to its pharmacists for consultations, take part in free health checks, and join public health campaigns organized by the company. In addition, “Mēness aptieka” develops and implements a variety of social responsibility initiatives that promote health, well-being, and an inclusive environment. "Mēness aptieka" also ensures the safe availability of medicines and has long provided a reliable system for collecting expired medications for further disposal.

“Brand Capital” is currently the most extensive brand and lifestyle study in the Baltics. Its origins date back to 2004 with the creation of the “Latvian Brand Top,” and since 2013 the study has also been conducted in Lithuania and Estonia. To ensure the representativeness of the data, the study is carried out by “Norstat,” one of the leading and largest market research data collectors in Europe. In 2025, the “Brand Capital” study compiled data on approximately 600 brands, surveying more than 3,000 residents of the Baltic States, who responded to nearly 300 questions about lifestyle and attitudes toward brands.
